THURS 209 OCT | 4pm – 7PM
We welcome you to visit, meet us and explore our North Fremantle Office.
Our two-storey open-plan office in North Fremantle was purpose built for our own use, and to ‘put our money where our mouth is’ in terms of sustainability. The building is highly efficient and demonstrates the sustainable building practices we incorporate into our projects.
Our approach to architecture is expansive in scope, and holistic and exacting in attention to detail. Our minimalist approach includes the design and use of bespoke steelwork for elements from frames to glazing, custom designed modular furniture, and healthy non-recycling natural airflow ventilation, low-energy lighting. We are in the process of taking the building off-grid in the near future. Ultimately, spaces should be designed around people.
The most pleasant (and therefore, productive) work environments have abundant natural light, low ambient noise levels, excellent ventilation, and a variety of activity hubs for private or collaborative, casual or formal formats. Sustainability is fundamental to our approach to all levels of design, on both environmental and economical fronts.
Slavin Architecture is located at:

We are an award-winning architecture and design practice, known for our innovation and leadership in architecture. Established in 1993 and based in Fremantle, we celebrate 29 years in practice. Our portfolio spans heritage, civil, commercial, education and residential design as well as master planning.
We have a special interest in sustainable design – we make use of a location’s natural light, heating and cooling properties, all supported by energy saving technologies, ensuring maximal efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
We work with local government authorities, corporations, small business or individuals to create buildings and landscapes that stand outside of time and trends, that are adaptable, and that have modest maintenance costs over their life-cycle.
