Parlour Perth Spring Salon

with Kate Hislop & Julie de Jong

TUE 18 | 6pm – 8pm

Come along for conversation and connection within the space of the exhibition HyperSext City, by Monash University XYX Lab.

Our conversationalists – Kate Hislop and Julie de Jong – will set the scene with a public conversation about their work, commitments and lives in architecture. Then it is over to you – catch up with friends and colleagues, meet new people, build new networks and revive older ones. And simply enjoy the company of some of the great people of Perth architecture and the built environment over refreshments.

Who should attend? Everyone! People of all genders, emerging or established, practitioner or those active in architecture and the built environment in other ways,  we hope all will join us. We particularly encourage people to make new connections with women at different stages of their careers.

Please book via the link above – the Salon is free, but capacity is limited.

Parlour is a research-based advocacy organisation working to improve gender equity in architecture and the built environment professions. As activists and advocates we aim to generate debate and discussion. As researchers and scholars we provide serious analysis and a firm evidence base for change. As active participants in Australian architecture we seek to open up opportunities and broaden definitions of what architectural activity might be.
