Open Studio / work.shop.dine

SAT 15 | 11AM – 3PM

Join work.shope.dine Creative Directors, Simone and Leo, on a behind the scenes tour of a bustling design studio. Located in a classic West End building, you will explore studio spaces, meet some of Perth’s top furniture and product suppliers, and enjoy an insight into work.shop.design’s our creative designs. 126 years of heritage meets modern design!

As you journey through our studio you will find the Lieutenants Mess, named after Lt J.A. Mouat, of HMS Challenger one of Captain Fremantle’s Lieutenants – mess being a play on a naval eating hall.

This space will be occupied by Matt Di Costa where he will be launching The Colour Experiment. An interactive instalment offers participants the chance to sit in an immersive, multi changing, colour soaked room to see how they emotionally respond. Are we just a vessel of memories, or is there something taking place in real time. The results are fascinating.

In the main studio space, Nood and Co will be showcasing their newest range of products and colour ways. Curated to suit commercial and residential spaces. Alongside Nood and Co’s amazing products will be furniture from local designers and suppliers. A gallery of our commercial designs will also be on display in the Lieutenants Mess.

Fremantle has been home of the work.shop.dine design studio for the past 19 years, and here is where we have assembled our carefully selected team of creatives. Our mission from the beginning was to establish ourselves as the go-to source for innovative and strategic solutions in commercial retailscapes, developing concepts for both the present and future. We are dedicated to accomplishing the highest design standards possible via originality, honesty, and professionalism.

Our portfolio includes the design of grocery stores, fresh food markets, butcher shops, food courts, cafes, bars, restaurants, community precincts, retail space strategies, and speciality retail store layouts. Not only does our approach to each project entail design, but it also incorporates management. This assures that the final result will be of a high quality, expressing the core of our creative ideas in the most effective way possible for the benefit of our customer
